I specialize in working with adults, parents and children who are Highly Sensitive and/or have Sensory Processing Disorder. Many of my clients also struggle with feelings of worry, perfectionism, and an inner fear that they are not enough. Still others have endured attachment injury, grief and loss, abuse or neglect, medical or immigration trauma, or other significant stressors in their family or work life.
I use a psychodynamic (looking at how unconscious forces are influencing current thoughts, actions, and feelings) approach to uncover the hidden beliefs that may be holding you back. I will work with you to create a path forward. My hope is to bring new understanding to you so that you can build healthy and nurturing relationships within your family, at school, or at work.
As a Korean-American, I strive to be culturally responsive with clients and their unique histories. My clients have described me as warm, insightful, direct, and empathetic. In addition, I promise that our work together will be collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on measurable goals.
